According to my record, I stitched this piece for my friend as a wedding gift. I am sure I have a picture somewhere but I just can't find it right now! It is gigantic. I think I had that in mind for myself but no groom in sight at the moment so....................letting it go to a good home.

Mitten - Patches by Cricket Collection

I started to do the mittens...I just thought they are so adorable on BIG count fabric. They should be easy to finish. This was the first one.

The specialty stitch this month is the floral stitch. Personally, this is too much backstitching for me. But I love the eggplant button.

Love the firecracker button. I finally have time and all my tools together to frame these little treasures. Specialty stitch is gold stars.

Sweet Flower Sampler by Drawn Thread

I started this piece at the end of July. When I was at the retreat, I realized that I didn't do my homework to come up with a RR idea. At the last minute, I figured adding everyone's name on the bottom of this piece would actually make a beautiful piece. And I would be within the RR guideline of using alphabet and only stitching each other's name. I think this will be a bell pull.

Rose Treasure Bag by M Designs

Mary of M Designs came to visit with us during the retreat. Each of us picked out a kit to work on. I picked up this one. I think the fabric is Maple Sugar by Lakeside linen. Tobie was nice enough to serge everyone's fabric. This is more like a chatting group than a class, as we were enjoying the talking and looking at her latest designs.
